Bow season is just around the corner! In anticipation of this we focus on what we can do now to get us more prepared for hunting whitetails in 2012. This week we start with a short coyote hunting trip to Kansas. What we see while driving through Kansas will require hunters throughout the drought zone to change many stand locations this fall. We return to The Proving Grounds where Adam and I settle into a Redneck blind and do a little scouting.

It’s time to start pre-season scouting as bow season will be here soon! This week Adam climbs into a Redneck blind in search of some velvet bucks. I get in some early scouting and examine the difference between the current red and white oak acorn crops. What’s the big deal about red or white? Find out when you watch this episode! There’s also a brief update on how our Eagle Seed soybeans are doing in the Hot Zone Fence.
Beware of the flying fish! Join Richie Music and company as they journey to Peoria, Illinois in pursuit of the invasive Asian carp with Point Blank Bowfishing. You’ll also see two more Wisconsin turkey hunts and get a couple trail camera pointers from staff member Jeff Kaye. As always, the best bowhunting action is right here on Bowhunt or Die!
How experienced and accurate are you in estimating the age of the bucks you see from the treestand? Also, the boys earn a little extra credit as they successfully hunt a groundhog.

Another hot and dry week in Kentucky and Missouri, but that didn’t stop us from managing for whitetails. In this video see more tips for building a new food plot, the new antlers I found that get us pumped up for deer hunting this fall, and a drought update.
