Unbelievable! 2013 Illinois Muzzleloader Whitetail Deer Hunt!

For the last four years my buddies and I have hunted with Illinois Ohio Valley Trophy Hunts. I can’t say enough for the owner Jarod, his Dad Ed, the guides Dave, Brad and Brad’s son Garrett. This year I brought my camera to film. Generally, my rule of thumb is never abandon the camera on a hunt since my goal is to get it on film. It’s an easy to follow rule when you hunt in your own backyard, but when you have some money tied up in to a hunt rules can change pretty quick. I had a couple of missed opportunities. One of them caught on film. When the last opportunity for the day presented itself, I made a quick decision not to touch the camera. I moved it a hair and then concentrated on the shot. The camera caught some of the action but not all of it. Looking back, I don’t think I would change a thing because this video still shows the hunt unfold. Not to mention there is nothing better then venison back straps on the grill! Thanks for watching!

Rifle Deer Hunting 2013 Pennsylvania – Justin

2013 Deer Hunting Pa. Justin Griffith hunts whitetails in Armstrong county Pennsylvania during the second week of rifle season along with cameraman Hunter Ruby. The guys see a few deer at the start but then spot a doe bedded on the hillside. Justin makes a great shot with his 300 Weatherby mag with a 165 grain Nosler ballistic tip. The deer never even moves out of its bed! The guys recover the deer and celebrate a successful hunt.
