This video is about bowhunting in Idaho for elk. It all started back in 2017 when we caught a glimpse of a big bull before rifle season. As soon as the hunting pressure started, he disappeared. In 2018, I spent some time in there during the archery season. September 11 is the day I truly laid my eyes on this big brute. All bow season, I attempted to call in this herd bull, but could never close the distance. This bull was smart. When fall of 2019 rolled around, we used our past knowledge on how this bull responded to calls and used it to our advantage. I was able to get an arrow in him at 55 yards.
